I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Salutation, where my high expectations were not only met but exceeded in every way. The spacious room boasted a luxurious balcony equipped with an electric kettle, perfect for enjoying tea as I soaked in the vibrant ambiance of central Ambleside. The staff were exceptionally attentive, providing delightful table service during breakfast with an excellent selection that catered to varied tastes, particularly appreciating the attentive service from Manuel. The public lounges were tastefully decorated, offering a cozy sitting area for winding down after a day of exploration, and the spa facilities were a tranquil retreat with a refreshing swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi that were never overcrowded.
